The Policy of Appeasement
The Policy of Appeasement was the inaction of Britain and France towards Hitler thinking that if they met his demands that Hitler would back away and he would become less aggressive intern hoping to avoid another world war. In class booklet information states the French and the British thought the aggresiveness of Hitler would pass. The main allied countries did not want to spend even more money creating supplies for war as they were still trying to recover from the Great Depression within their boarders.
This was linked to the aggression of Germany and Japan as Hitler would not back away as he thought the other countries weaker than they were. |
